About AHA ServSafe Manager Classes
The Arkansas Hospitality Association offers in-person ServSafe Manager classes with exams in a one-day format.
Each class includes approximately 5.5 hours of review led by certified, industry-experienced instructors. Instruction may include videos, PowerPoint review, discussion, and Q&A to help attendees prepare for the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification exam.
AHA members receive discounted rates on ServSafe classes. If your business is not yet an AHA member, we encourage you to learn more about membership benefits, including training discounts, hospitality advocacy, workforce resources, industry updates, and cost-saving member programs. Important Registration Information
ServSafe registration fees are nonrefundable. If you need to reschedule, you may move to a future class date, subject to availability. A $25 reschedule fee will apply.
Please bring the following to class:
- Valid photo ID
- ServSafe textbook
- Exam answer sheet, if one was provided to you
Exam-only attendees should arrive prepared to begin the exam at 3:00 p.m.
Exam Information
The ServSafe Manager exam consists of 90 questions. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass.
ServSafe eCertificates fulfill American National Standards Institute (ANSI) requirements for the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification.
Exam scores and eCertificates are made available through ServSafe/National Restaurant Association. They are not issued by AHA. Instructions for accessing scores and eCertificates online will be provided during class.
Textbook Information
- AHA does not ship ServSafe textbooks.
- Books may be available on the day of class or you may contact Renee Smith (renee@arhospitality.org) to schedule pickup before the class.

We recommend ordering books at least five days before class begins.
